I've had my Mark 3 WRX for two months now, and it seems fine except for low gear selecting, which needs force even after warm-up. Has anyone else experienced this? And, has anyone had the slick shift gear stick upgrade fitted?

Most people find that replacing the gearbox oil with something like Castrol Syntrax SAE 75/90 sorts any stiffness etc in the gearbox.

my bug eye has very stiff low gears .
have had the selection gate bit changed , made no differance
