Just posted this in Members' gallery by mistake. Sorry. I'm new around here(well, in UK). I'm from Japan. Just been sent over from over there by my company. So a big hello to you all Imprezza fans/owners!
I was thinking of bringing over my 99 STi I have in Japan, as it looks like I'll be staying in UK for a good few years, but the insurance in UK is very high... I have been told by a friend to come on here to speak to you guys to see if anyone knows a good insurance company to go to.
Also, a lot of your threads include MY00, MY98, and the like. What do you mean? Just a simple question for you, but it doesn't make any sense to me... Thanks in advance

Do you spell "Impreza" as "Imprezza" in Japan?

MY means model year as in MY00 is a year 2000 car and MY98 means a 1998 car.
See the insurance forum for info, several companies about but not a lot that like import cars from Japan, and yes insurance is bloody high over here.

How come the original post has "Insurance Company" as a hyperlink to a compant called Net Quote but when I look at the post using the edit function, it's just text, confused, you bet I am!

Tesco's are the way forward mate, i'm 21 and they gave me a mega quote on a turbo. well compared to the six, seven grand quotes i got off everyone else!!!
