The UK Modified Nationals, to be held at Shakespeare County Raceway, on 30th May-1st June, will amongst other attractions be featuring the street-legal eight-second cars of Ian Hook and Andy Frost in their twice daily Hour of Power drag racing demonstrations. The two arch rivals and good friends will have four match races to help decide the Ford v Chevy and Ford v Vauxhall debates "Don’t think for one minute that ‘demo’ means that we won’t be going for it", says Ian Hook. "Both of us would love to go to round three of the Custom Car Street Eliminator Championship holding bragging rights over the other. Performance to date couldn’t be closer with my PB of 8.87 just two hundredths quicker than Andy’s, and Andy’s mph of 162.66 just .21 ahead of mine!"
