Cool

ST170 they could'nt pull the skin off a rice puddin

I think the owners of these cars think they have some form of powerfull car. They only go 8mph quicker than the normal one

they are slower 0-60 than a mk2 xr2. i heard its due to the power sapping traction control.RS may be a little more of a challenge but me thinks it will still be a walk over

They do have fantastic levels of grip though. Think I will stick with my RenaultSport 172 though

I am think of getting one of these to replace my zetec and I am quite impressed with them and they handle and go well. How can the TC sap power surely it only comes on when traction is lost . Sure its not a quick as my RA but 99% of scoobs arent either and most seem to be around the 320-350bhp mark LOL .

not sure exactly what makes them so slow, like i said only heard it was due to the TC. its definatly not the best hot hatch out there. seat leon cupra r is just as well specked and is quicker(210 bhp).civic type r handles better is quicker but spec is ****e.clio 172 probably best bet at the moment!!!!!!!

just my opinion so dont bite my head off

Clio is too small and AFAIK they only do them is 3 door variety. Isnt the CTR a 3 door as well as is the FRS, need 5 doors boys as this is my practical car . Never really like look of the Leon but that just down to preference. I have the RA for blowing EVOs, TTs and Cossies away so I need a quick, quiet mile muncher.

Thumbs down

That 170 is a complete waste of time LOL! Just buy the normal 2.0 Zetec and stick some diff alloys on it and pocket the change. Had a bloke in one trying like an ar$e and keep up round a dual peppered with roundabouts, being egged on by his mate in the car, he had no chance.

BTW - I was driving a 205 1.9GTi. LMAO!
