Dephending on the subaru dealership, they can get you one as they came standard on the P1's, appart from that forge does a nice one, very similar in design to the sti's.

anyone know where i can get a pukka sti strut brace for a my98 scooby??

Try breakers yards, when I needed a new lump a couple of years ago I found several STI's in the breakers & I guess you wouldnt pay a lot for a strut. Worth a try, certain breakers specialise in scoobs & are on the web.
I used JMA near Portsmouth, ask for Wayne. They had no idea of the value of STI bits ie STI 4 lump complete with all the ancilary bits (turbo etc + the brain out of the car) 16000 miles on cars speedo
£1000 cash & thats when scoob prices were high.
