You should always be concise and to the point - never beat around the bush, or use too many words to make your point. Don't ramble on for pages about the same thing or talk for hours just to make a single point. People get bored if you go on for too long about a single topic, so precision is the key. Personally I know a lot of people say too much about nothing not that I'd ever........................

Was a good result for the scoob!!!.BUT!!! the answer was a forgone conclusion, WHY??.
There are twice as many scoobs sti on the road as those evo chaps.
So the result was allways in the favour of the sti, tiff and that gay bird both liked the evo more (lol gay bird)

Well I'd say that scoobs outnumber evo's 10:1.
Thus scoobs 'should' have 90% (or so) of the vote.
So in REAL terms the Evo won as they got 33% of the vote with only 10% of the sales.

I saw a 5th gear prog where they said the evo won in performance, handling, and geb=neral sportyness, but the scooby won cos it was easier to live with everyday? isn't that sort of robbing the evo of a deserved vistory? It won this and that, but the scooby isn't as hardcore, so it wins! Are we rating shopping trolleys here? never saw last nights program, but i presume the same thing happened!

Not so sure whether Evo owners would have a scoob in their garage as a backup...
I believe he bought it for doing the shopping or so he says.

10% of sales says it all really , lots of people say they want one but few buy them ? why is that ?

given that the whole reason for the existance of the performance saloons (such as the evo and the scoob) is that it allows for a blend of practicallity and performance this would make it a perfectly good reason to own a scoob over the evo because of its less "hardcore" nature. The inability to liove with them day to day is something you hear alot about the evos. I know personally that I find it quite easy to use the scoob as a "normal" car when the situation demans (was nice and practical for going to ASDA with 3 mates the other day)

The people that come out with this haven't actually got any experience of what they're talking about...

You have to admit though that the EVO suffers due to its pathetically small fuel tank and range, thus making it pretty useless as an all rounder.
I base this on driving in a convoy with a couple of EVO's and I though the touring range on the Impreza was bad. These lads were stopping 100 miles before I had to and they were running on fumes!
Still I reckon I'd pick the EVO over an Impreza if practicality wasn't an issue. Aren't the EVO service intervals 5000 miles or something ridiculous?

I could live with all the cons of the E7 I looked at but it came down to the fact I would have to spend money and modify it to make it go quicker than my RA so I didnt bother. I think I was expecting to much as the JDM scoob classics are pretty much on par with the EVOs and it comes down to personal preference.

The Evo service intervals are 4500 miles or 6 months. At least you know that the car is being highly maintained!
You get around 200 miles out of a tank of fuel. To be honest, in all of my Evo ownership, the size of the fuel tank hasn't bothered me in the slightest. If you were doing regular long jouneys though, I could see how it may be an inconvenience...

true... I don't have any experience of living with an EVO, I was just saying that when I was looking at cars and was reading up on them that was something I came across and it turned me off the evo a bit as I was really wanting a good amount of practicality along with the fun.

Even if i was`nt a scooby nut i think the Evo looks plain boring, especially from the side, the evo 5 and 6 were much better.....
i think mitsibishi have forgotten that the evo is a Rally Rep!!
