Corsa boy? No prizes for guessing what car this scooby newbie owns - pleb. I'm sure you'd keep your Corsa if say for some god known bizarre reason somebody wanted to swop their Scooby for it.

Surley you lot only keep buying these scoobs while you progress on the ladder towards a skyline,VX220 ,escort cosworth,RS500 ETC ETC.

Dont get me wrong they are nice (ish) cars but not something that you keep ,just like a passing car that you keep till you can get something better.

I know i only own a corsa at the moment but one day i will own a calibra ,then a vx220

I imagine that you've never driven an Impreza of any type Corsa boy, until you have keep your opinions under your hat, they make you sound stupid.
I've driven a few Corsa as cheap hire cars on holiday and they are amongst the worst superminis available. Get some self respect and get a Saxo, at least they are good fun to drive.
I'll bet he replies with some bollox about how he has driven his mates/dads/cousins one. If you are ever lucky enough to drive or own a Turbo Impreza then you'll know just how wrong you are.

Unhappy

Honestly you post up something as a joke and it gets taken over by some idiot posting crap - you know who you are....

Please keep your small minded opinions to yourself.

no really, he's not a wind up merchant is he?

I thought he was a really cool guy sharing his superior knowledge and experience with us. Not just some snivelling little runt who probably doesn't even own a Corsa.

Yes i do own a corsa ,but not your normal run of the mill corsa ,it has a induction kit, stainless exhaust,16's ,bad boy bonnet, etc and it goes like stink ,like i said in a previous post i will put my car up against anything on the roads and will more than likely beat it ,just cause its only a corsa doesnt mean a "scooby" can beat it ,its all down to the driver .

And yes i have driven a scooby it was a mates dads .

What subaru was it then?. Not sure if I believe what you say about the beating almost anything part, what have you done to it engine and handling wise then?.
My old mk2 golf had a new engine and 6 speed box from tsr performance as well as uprated shocks springs etc. It was quick but would not touch my wrx. Only way it might beat me is if I ran out of fuel.

Does an induction kit and an ss zorst really add enough extra HP to get your 0-60 to under 10 secs? We've seen some hatchbacks and right sheds on here modded into Scooby beaters, but we've also seen what you have to do to them (including Corsas) to get them anywhere near even a UK Scoob, and what you've done is a long way off.

What you say is very true though - the driver does make a hell of a lot of difference.... but sorry to say if you kept up with a turbo with the mods you've got, the guy/gal just wasn't trying, probably didn't even know you were there

Still, when I was 18 I thought a Mk3 Cortina was the fastest thing on the road, but it wasn't - I'm sure a lot of the drivers I "beat" just saw a reckless arsehole and left me alone. I learned the hard way with a six month ban, but maybe if I'd had the option of trolling Scoobynet with my pub talk I'd have been less of a tosser

Deano

corsaboy;you say we only own a scoob as we are working our way up to these cars - Vx220!!!!! what the F###? Escort cosworth, RS500. I've had:
944 S2
Renault 5 GTT
Escort Cosworth
Sapphire Cosworth
Lotus Esprit
911 Turbo
Pulsar gtir
300zx

I now own a P1 (that's a Subaru Impreza P1, in case you don't know what a P1 is!) and this is one of the best cars by far. But I am yet to own a Corsa, so maybe I don't know what I am talking about!!! Is it like a Frontera Sport? (my wife has one?)Can you get all your hairdressing gear in the Corsa???

Dam, id better sell my megablade that does 0-60 in around 4 seconds, with over 300bhp per tone and get a front wheel drive corsa then, im not sure i could handle the calibra though

LOL corsa boy, if you genuinely think you could take on most things on the road, id be careful, there are some seriously fast cars on this board, much faster than mine, and lets face it, megabldes aint no slouch and yes I drive it on the road, and yes I have overtaking many a boy racer in his saxo/corsa that ws giving the little ething all it could give (nice seeing the look of shock on his face as him and his baseball caped teenagers) suddenly realise that the funny looking car that they don’t actually recognise coz it was not in this weeks max power is pretty nippy)

HEHEHEHEHE

Its ace
