PASSED with Flying Colours

Now to get that Downpipe fitted

For those interested in my emissions they were as follows (Decat Centre & Back Box, and standard OE Downpipe)

CO Level @ 2746rpm = 0.15%
HC Level @ 2746rpm = 13 ppm
Lambda @ 2746 rpm = 1.00

CO Level @ 779 rpm = 0.05%

Its a MY00 EU Import

currently with a Magnex Decat Centre & Oval Backbox, Downpipe is in the boot ready for fitting, now the car passed

I have a K & N Induction Kit on too, and an AE800 ECU (which replaced the AE802 rubbish that was in there)

Great stuff. Professing ignorance, what is the difference between the AE800 and the AE802 - the "older" version seems to replace the "newer" worst one?

Good luck with the downpipe, if it's a magnex watch for it catching as mine did/does and needs gentle persuasion to fit. Took us 5 hours for the downpipe, would have been quicker if I hadn't lost one of the bolts in the engine bay, no spares so 1 hour to find it at 11 pm, think I'll be more careful in future.

Basically, the difference, in laymans terms, (John Banks or one of the other gurus can explain the difference from a technical point of view ) is that the car now continues accelerating all the way round to the redline (or rather just below it) instead of dropping off power after going over 5k rpm

Also the was some hesitation around 3k rpm, which has gone too

It aint no Tek2/2.5/3 remap, but does make a difference, mainly being able to keep accelerating (should the need ever arise)
