I love the rush you get when the turbo spools up and you get the wham of power. Its really noticable on the new STI PPP.

The new Evo VIII has a much more linear delivery - more like a non turbo car.

Which do you prefer and why?

ANY car can feel fast with lag followed by a big turbo rush.
Infact our Smart feels like it snaps your head back more than the Exige due to this.

Give me linear any day

 

If you want linear then buy a big engined car imo.

If you want the "giggle" delivery then try a T4 turbo'd Cossie, that makes the Scooby appear linear.
