hi guys, as the tittle says really, i might go and buy myself a scooby or an esc cos, i dont want an argument, i just want facts!
so here goes......

Q1)1998 Subaru Impreza 2.0 Turbo WRX STi Type-R Coupe - £10995
White coachwork with Grey Recaros, 44000 miles with FSH, air conditioning, 17" alloys, remote alarm, radio/cassette/CD etc, ........is it worth it???

Q2)what bhp am i likely to see from this being standard??

Q3)what would the REAL 0-60 times be ??

Q4)the top speed of this car would be ??

Q5)how much would it cost to take the car to say 350 bhp ??

Q6)are standard scoobys reliable ??

Q7) if there is such a thing,what are typical running costs ??

Q8)if not this scooby,which other for the same sort of price ??

70, coz that all you're allowed to do (140 ish)

I do 30-40 quid / week on 250 miles, ish

Running costs wise, they aren’t cheap cars to run. I get 250 to £40 of Optimax; if you rag it you get about 175 ish to a tank.

Servicing isn’t cheap either ball part figure £150 minor service, £400 major service. Insurance can be harsh (I pay £1300 Full Comp, 23 (22 at the time of insurance) with 3 years) Tesco is really good for quotes.

They are good and reliable cars IF serviced properly i.e. oil changed every 3k and serviced to the recommended schedule.

With 350bhp I reckon you should see 4 seconds ish 0-60, but if you up the brake horse by much you may affect the reliability.
