I think pre-99 cars will need it, but after that the cars work it out after a few miles (I've read about 20miles, probably on here somewhere)

God I hope not, Ive always just put in what I felt like paying for, depending on which garage I was at! 95, optimax or SUL.. it gets them all

I'm the same as Buzz, Sometimes treat it to Optimax but usually SUL but occasionally 95.
Never had any problems at all.
