DENTS - Aluminium bonnet
#1
I have an STI-7, hence an aluminium bonnet.
I have tried very hard to keep it perfect, but to no avail.
two beaut's of dents already, from flying stones.
Anyone else have the same problem?
tried dent devils on them?
Although I feel it would be pointless to knock them out, when more are inevitable.
Pah!

ye Bobby, I know what you are saying.
I've only had my P1 for about 6-7 weeks and so far I've managed to get a couple of chips on the screen and bonnet, not to mention the front bumper getting peppered also!!! Nothing too bad yet though.
Murphys law strikes again - I never seemed to get any of the above with all my previous cars until I get the best one of the lot!!
Must be the roads up here or something....
Hope the dents aren't too bad on your vehicle?
Cheers

I agree Techno! only had my P1 a couple of months and the front of it looks like its been used for target practice on the L.A.P.D firing range..! Luckily a very good friend of mine works at a B.M.W bodyshop! He informs me that when flatting the new paint back on the Ally bonnet you must be very careful not to warp it with the heat produced from the grinder..! If the bonnet is warped it will be only any good for lining the bottom of a bin with..! be warned! Cheers
