I`m no detective ,but..

This is just an observation, but it seems unwise to give out registration numbers (or photos )of cars when describing incidents which have happened to those cars. For example, by reading this bbs I now know the identity of cars which have been stolen recovered, crash damaged, engine failures, damaged paintwork etc.etc. while these things would not particularly bother me if I was buying one of those cars, they would bother a lot of other people. Cars which have been used on track days , for instance ,are frowned upon by a lot of buyers.
The thing is, it wouldn`t take the brains of an arch bishop to make up a database of cars and make it available on the net, which might cause one or two problems at the time of sale.
I`m not saying anyone would bother to do that but they might.

Same goes for security devices/precautions, area travelling to/from/living in, email addresses other than hotmail etc (specially personal domains [whois for a registered address]) and others besides.
