I just sold my MY99 and am now a miserable sod. Now on the look out for another one in a few months time

thats exactly why i've decided to keep my one and put up with the costs, else it'll only cost more if I sell it and then feel the need to buy a brand new MY03 with PPP in 6 months time to make up for it!

Advice to those who haven't bought one yet but are thinking, DONT DO IT UNLESS YOU HAVE £7K a year to spare, thats 3k on petrol if you use it, £1k on servicing and the rest on mods and insurance!

Gonna keep mine till a quicker one comes out. BTW how old does a car have to be before it can be insured under classic insurance .

Not surprised to see what you are saying Mark, I remember how I felt years ago when I sold my well tweaked Lotus Cortina Mk1. I was sorry ever since.

I won't make the same mistake with my Scooby though. Hope you find a good one.
