What's happening at Blackpool this weekend? I'm not far away.

 

bank holiday weekend = loads of holiday makers = big traffic jams = stay at home and watch tv showing people stuck for 5 hours on a motorway

 

Don't travel on a Friday or Saturday if you can help it, best to go Thursday evening, usually get a clear run then. I regularly go to Blackpool - the in laws have a hotel there, and I find travelling on the Friday is a nightmare - 10 hours to travel 270 miles anyone? - If I go on Thursday, I can usually do it in about 3 1/2 hours
Have fun anyway! (watch out for cameras on M6 between J3&J4 if you go that way - I didn't see them & got a ticket)
