Cool

I must be doing something wrong, just got 311 miles before the orange light today, have just had the 20k service so wonder if they did something!
Suspect that as I'm a bit skint I've been driving more smoothly but even still that's pretty good. Took 52 litres on the fill up.

I've had 340 out of it with no light... Still only took 47 litres of SUL! That's over 30 to the gallon.

All motorway miles at "crusing speeds" with fun blats around Milton Keynes.

I'm shocked.

Can regularly get over 300 miles in the P1 on motorway, running of course SUL.

I usually average 23 mpg and must have been feeling very laid back in the last few days to get mileage like that, it's such a rare thing that I had to tell everyone that it is possible!

Managed 298 miles from 'full' to 'orange light' on my MY00 this week. As this included some 'enthusiastic' driving from Sheffield to Manchester airport over the A57 'Snake Pass' at 6:30am on Sunday morning, I think that I have done well!!

Cool

Its 55 miles to work & then back + 6 cold starts & a couple of spare miles. A few hard ( ) accelerations (out of corners/roundabouts) SECS speedo designated & self-limited 70 max & I just put 46.2l SUL in this evening (no orange light).

Thats 33mpg plus

Generally over 30mpg on work runs - might try for more some time.

Part of the trick is carrying speed through corners
