My missus always catches me eyeing up the Scoob as we walk away from it, which she doesn't have a problem with
What she does have a problem with is me eyeing up other birds

the people who don't look back are probably un-interested in the car other than as transport and never come on here though!

Put a new STi6 spoiler on my classic yesterday, and then laughed at myself for looking back at it when we got to the pub quiz.
My wife asked what I was chuckling at, and then said: "Don't laugh at that. You ALWAYS look back at it."
So come on, who else out there can't resist a last look at their Scoob as you walk away from it?

I'm sad too, its just habit to look back and check, and also check out of the office window on regular occasions and mine is a Bugeye, well it used to be before the transformation.

OK, hands up who will admit to giving the car a friendly pat after a particularly satisfying "spirited drive" (TM scoobynet)?
One hand in the air here. My wife thinks it's a little sad

i always give it a glance over leaving, but more so when i come back just in case of any crime
but with regards to patting the beast - yes i do this also. occassionily i will talk to it. if i am driving and say snick/grind a gear thru complacency i apologise!
also after spirited driving i will compliment "good beast" or something - it comes naturally, but am i totally sad

I walk backwards up the stairs to my house looking at it (well i haven't had it long!) but i'm fast discovering that these 2 activities don't go well together. I also look out of the window a few times in the evening. That said i've had one car and 2 bikes nicked so i think the odd prowl around the house in a cold sweat with a baseball bat at 3 in the morning is quite rational...my wife doesn't see it that way somehow!
