Just bought a BlackSti IV type R as a project. One of only two on our fair shores. Needs a rebuild, so how about some suggestions advise on internals turbo brakes etc!

Hi MikeSTI7
Are there many Scoobys in SA, I stayed in Santon for a while, also went for a drive through Jo'Berg, what a place. You treat Traffic lights a bit different there, and also sometimes they were all stuck on Red!!!
Fitting car security has a completely different meaning over there.

Hi Andy
Yes Scoobies are fast becoming popular in SA especially since Subaru SA have become active in the SA market and the Sti 7 & 8 has been sold in limited numbers though the dealership network, the WRX is very popular. Fuel quality is a big problem though so owners of Sti's have to use octane boosters or convert to higher octane leaded fuel. A few Sti 4's (one 22B) and 6's where brought in as grey imports. These where Jap Spec cars and run on race fuel exclusively. We have a very active but small club and Wrx's and Sti are fast becoming the choice rally car.
