Question

I've just had my sti3 out, and took it through the revs fairly lively.... at about 5000 revs the rear windscreen washer started spraying on the rear windscreen It normally doesn't spray even when I ask it too, I thought it was blocked or something as I can still hear the pump.... very very

Is there something that could be putting more pressure through these pipes at high revs? I would of thought not...

Bet thats a real 'smack in the mouth' for the 'lesser' cars that we all overtake on the road, not only do you 'skin' them, but you give them a good spraying too!! LOL- Classic!

My Sti5 often does the same with hard acceleration. I've always assumed that it is just caused by surge from this.

Question

It would be good to have a rear wash/wipe.

Why don't they put them on UK cars, essential in this country.

This is really weird. It is working exactly like an intercooler spray on "Auto" should I might reroute the pipes

Nah, who needs wash/wipe anyway, weight reduction is the way

use your side mirrors to see the cars you've just left behind

Thumbs up

Right, this is now fixed.

TSL knew what was happening

The inertia of the water in the reservoir forces the water throught the pipe under hard acceleration. All it needed was a £2 value (the none ball bearing one) fitting. Problem solved
