I've just bought and fitted some of the official sti mudflaps to my STi7. Started at around 2pm and finished the job at around 7pm. Is that some sort of record for length of time to fit four mudflaps (5 hours)!!!

Looks good now though (probably pics in gallery when I've washed it tomorrow)...

... that must be like a bolt every 20 mins looking forward to the pics ... waiting for my mud flaps to come into the dealers.

Richie.

Iain , im sure i could beat that when i get my impreza. I like to undertake small jobs that should take about 30 mins , they end up taking hours and hours ... usually someone gets injured in the process too ... be it a friend or me ... just wait ... just you wait..

Least you know you've done a good job and saved yourself some £££
by doing it yourself.

Thumbs up

Iain, I think thats about the same time it took Dyney and me to do the mudflaps on my STi7. But then we did clean all of the underseal off the brakes, and touch up the missed patches . Oh, and of course, when you're drilling holes in your STi you can never take enough time in getting it right

I took six hours to fit my inter-cooler but I was on crutches with a broken pelvis at the time !
