I used Sika Flex body adhesive.

Available from most good motor factor type people.

I used sikaflex marine mastic to secure the wheelarch trims on my old forester as the dealer supplied stickypads weren't up to the job. The only problem is that it NEVER comes off, so you have to be careful with it!

Tigerseal or loctite 3951.

Or go to a windscreen fitting place and buy a tube of "the black stuff used to fit windscreens". Sikaflex make lots of products, one of which is black and used for fitting windscreens, forget which product this is though.

Sikaflex is the stuff if you dont want to take it off again. Boat Chandlers stock it.
