How do the genuine STI6 2 piece spoilers actually bolt together. I have just got a replica one from grade A and it has 4 MASSIVE holes on the underside of the lower piece so you can get a socket set in to tighten the 2 together.

It says that these holes are for expansion, but the are 30mm across, and may look a bit **** when on the car. I'm wondering whether to have them filled in....

Much the same way but there are two plastic trims that cover the panel containing the holes.

Hi, I've just fitted one of these, I put some 25mm rubber blanking grommets in the holes, held in by silicone. I asked the sprayshop for some paint and painted them the same colour, it looks a lot better than leaving the holes bare!
