Markus,

I have one (along with some other things!) and it works well and I've had no problems or false alarms since it was fitted (June '99).

Thanks

Gavin

Markus,

No, I have the "vanilla" alarm with ultrasonics and the central locking (with the extra motor) fitted.

The touch key is only used if the battery in the keyfob fails. If for some bizarre reason, both don't work, you can use a PIN to disarm the unit as well.

Auto-lock can be set by your installer if required but I gather it causes more problems than it solves so I didn't bother (i.e. locking yourself out of your car with the engine running).

I got the alarm fitted to keep the insurance people happy and then got the same installers to extend the system with additional sensors, etc.

I then fitted another alarm myself...

IHTH

Thanks

Gavin

Cheers. does help. Think I wont go for the auto lock stuff. Might go for total closure though, then again might not.

Thumbs up

Markus,
I have got one and have had no problems (touch wood).

The closure is a bonus (if you're a lazy bones like me) plus the autolock is a result too.

I've had no problems at all- and can't work ou how you can get into trouble. The doors don't lock until the engine is turning over.

Overall, mighty impressed (geddit) so far.
