Question

I have a MY99 UK Turbo with a K&N induction kit and a Blitz exhaust with de-cat centre pipe. With these engine mods is there anything i need to do to make sure my car is running correctly (ie. get it set up on the rollers etc.). Or is there a next stage i can go to, to make my car run better with abit more power without breaking the bank?

Thinking of purchasing a downpipe!

So are you guys saying that if i get a downpipe i will 'NEED' to get a remap to get the car running correctly, or was the remap just another suggestion for an engine mod?

You don't need one, but it'll get you some more ponies... and will smooth out torque curves. Any little problems (i.e. fuel regs) can be mapped around too.

If you don't want to spend all that money, get a Dawes device (~£40) and increase boost a bit, but be careful
