I'm thinking of getting a custom made car-cover, for outdoor use.
If no-one has a template for an MY03 STi yet, what do you think the chance of an MY02 STi Prodrive (ie large spoiler) fitting an MY03 STi is.
I'd think it was pretty good - but not 100% certain...
Any ideas? Anyone actually tried it?
Whilst on the subject - any recommendations for breathable custom fit covers?
Thanks

Shades,
I have one from Covercraft, it cost £195 and is a custom fit for a MY01 STI Type UK Prodrive. To be honest I would not bother with one unless you intend to store the car for long periods. If you plan to use it on a daily basis then you must make sure you keep the car as clean as possible or you will start to notice slight marking of the paint work, this will come out using Swissol Cleaner Fluid. The covers need to be washed every couple of weeks as well.
I also have a brand new one as above that has not been used yet, I travel down to Stroud once a month so e-mail me if you would like to have a look at it.

Thanks Si
Out of interest, which fabric is the Covercraft cover?? (I've got all the samples ) I've noticed that they have a second hand 'Noah' one for the MY02 STi Prodrive, for 90 quid - though it states 'Tight across the boot' so I'm not sure whether it would be any good, especially for an MY03... Dunno.
Favourite now is SCC - I've been quoted 195 from Specialised Car Covers for their outdoor, breathable fabric (Webflex) - which looks good, comes in a dark blue and they claim they do have the pattern for an MY03 STi.
Still seems like a bucket full of cash though - but then again I have just paid over a ton for some Autostyle car mats...
I'll only really be using the Scoob at the weekends, as I have a workhorse Citroen TD that I will use when slogging up and down motorways, and going to Sainsburys, etc. The Scoob will come out on nice days, in the summer, when it's dry, etc. etc. but could well sit under cover for a couple of weeks without being touched - hence the cover.
Thanks for your help.

Shades,
I went for the Technalon (SP?) II fabric as it provides the best protection against knocks, my car used to be parked on a main road :-( I can't fault the cover, it comes with a lock, security cable & bag to store it all in. I queried the £90 cover and was told it won't even go over the Prodrive spolier so steer clear of that one, it would be ok for a low level spoiler.
