IMHO I've always found Motorcity really good in Stockport on the A6 (About 200m the Manchester side of Debenhams) 0161 474 1441. 10 mins down the M60 for you.

Had our sport done the other day and he was going to put it on the 2wd machine and he was saying that the rollers roll at less than 3.5mph which is ok for the 4wd system, apprantly it can compensate for a small varience in speed. I must admit i insisted they do it out of the rollers with another machine they put on the dash etc. They went over it with a fine tooth comb...probably getting me back for not using the rollers...nearly failed it on one of the number plate lights not working ! There's been thread on here about not using the rollers but i've never heard of anyone actually having their car damaged.

It's your diff in your car, so never let it go on the rollers.

Every MOT station SHOULD have a decelerometer, which is usually strapped to the passenger seat.

Anything thats permenant 4 uses it.
