Had the scooby for a week now,it came with a full service
I have put in kn panel filter and a magnex exhaust decatted the cat nearest the back box.Clear front indicators and clear repeaters, gold scooby wheels shoed with bridgestones. Also colour coded those silly orange vents under the front indicators.Just waiting for some manecor leads and putting on some more earthing straps at the weekend.
The car is a dream to drive on normal roads which are full off potholes and speed bumbs gloucester is the speed bumb capital of the world.
When i've opened her up on the bypass picks up smoothly and goes really well
One problem i need help with is on thick over sometimes she will run erratically the revs will jump from 600 rpm to 8-900 rpm anyone know why or is this indicitive of the scooby
Overall im impressed.

I'll presume u haven't missed a 0 off those rev figures & guess we're talking about idling. Which seems a bit low 2 me anyway.
Anyhow as far as i no (no expert ) dodgy idle can be a c/o a few things i've herd sum have a dodgy idle when flywheel has been altered/lightened etc but most likely sounds like MAF (or lambda) may be stuffed. Which model year is it?
Anyway u wana sort that if thats the case!!!
If yer talkin about when yer putting power down & revs jump up with no speed change then maybe slipping clutch & thus a healthy sized bil 4 a new un looming (yep i just had this )

Rereading yer comments i guess u have a MY99 or so which makes MAF even more suspicious 2 me as they r a tad temperamental especially with induction (OK panel filter even) related MODS
Si (as i say no expert but u dont wana keep going too long if MAF is buggered)
