Rung up,
asked to speak to someone technical in the automotive department..
Got put through to some woman who didnt give her name (not a problem in its self)
Explained that what I wanted was probably not actually fitted to a car as std, and maybe a motorsport part..
Couldnt give me a part number without the application...
FFS I want an 2000cc Air Injector Part Number.
Application? erm yeah world rally cars... for boost control..
Anybody got any decent contacts??

i take it you mean the air injector used on the ALS systems in WRC engines?
If you do, you cant buy them from a suplier because they are standard idle control valves modified by motorsport fabricators.
If this is what you are after, mail me and i'll tell you where you can buy them.

ahhh, or do you mean the air injector setup used for boost control?
Thats a pair of fuel injectors, connected to fabricated alloy sections that is used to meter the waste gate. You cant buy those off the shelf either. LOL
There is more to them than meets the eye, i can point you in the right direction for those too.

Pavlo, the injectors that you talk about are top feed. No good unless you do a lot of modification.
I know that either the primary of secondary injectors from an RX-7 will fit, and seeing as the primarys are 550cc. But when we upgrade the injectors we either add additional injectors or replace the secondaries with larger units, i.e. 1300cc.
They just bore out the injector, so how this effects the spray pattern it a good guess.

Danny, doesnt matter as I want air injectors and top feed will be easier to mount.. just pop in to two metal bars.. with holes drilled in.. then clamp.. sort of..
