Probably should be in Technical, but I thought I might get an answer quicker here.
I'm upgrading my brakes to Wilwood 4 pots and the chap who is fitting them asked a couple of questions:
What diameter are the standard discs on a MY95 270mm?? Can I go to 300mm??
Also what diameter are the pistons on the stock 2 pot calipers (so he can work out roughly how much fluid is displaced.
thanks.

i fitted a set of sti6 4 pot calipers on my jdm 95wrx no probs. i have 17 inch oz at each corner though, and i am not sure if the 4 pots will fit below any smaller. i think the disc size is about 300mm, though people regularly fit 6pot 330mm under that size of rim.
cheers

Some Willwood calipers have a very high profile. This also needs to be taken into consideration as for every 10mm higher than the stock caliper you have to add 20mm to the overall diamter of the disc&caliper.

Cheers chaps, sti 16" are what I'm running. I will bear your comments in mind. Having to go to 17s would be out of my current car mods budget.
