Your local council tip/dump probably has a big drum to pour it in to

There's usually an 0800 phone no on the back of new oil packaging. They should be able to tell you the nearest place to you. (Usually the council tip)

It shouldn't cost you anything to dipose of oil as a householderbut it will if your are a company - get what I'm saying ???

Your local authority are a good place to start but also try the Environment Agency www.environment-agency.gov.uk you should be able to phone up your local office for advice.

Just don't pour it down the drain ! - If you need further help- let me know.
