We have just come back from a week snowboarding in France.
We were having a great time till the other half decieded to
phone her mum and dad last monday. They only live round the corner
and the mother in law had said she would pop round each day and
pick up our mail and keep an eye on our house for us.
So Alison is chatting away to her mum on the phone when she says
her mum would like a word with me.
It turns out that last saterday night some little sh#t
decieded he would like to have a ride in our car
So he got a crow bar and had a go at the drivers door
He couldnt get in.
So he had a go at the passenger door with the crow bar
He couldnt get in.
This must have made his peanut sized brain very angry.
So he decieded to put the window through
Then he got technical with a screwdriver on my stereo.
He failed but still fuc##ed up my dashboard.

He gave up and pissed off

My car was parked outside my house.
It has a decent alarm.
Imobolizer.
Disklok
Tracker.

On finding this out on the phone I was a little bit miffed

A freind moved the car onto his drive and patched up the window
with a bin liner( I had left car keys with the inlaws)

My car alarm had gone off.

I contacted my local subaru dealership and explained the
situation and they came and collected it and took it back to
their dealership and started my insurance claim off for me.

Now i am back home and not a happy chappie

I have good neighbours and they cleaned up the mess and
contacted the police on my behalf.
It would appear that a few cars have been done over in my area
(great barr) while i was away.
The police said it was the sort of car that drew attention.
I do have a garage but i have an old MG BGT in there which is
off the road. I have had it for 14 years and did not want to
get rid of it. A mate is going to have it off me now so i can
get the subaru in there when i get it back.
It just pis##s me off that you cannot park your own car outside
your own house without some little **** having a go at it
The wife said she would like to use a crowbar on their fingers
But then she would get locked up and they would get a pay off
and a holiday in Florida to help get over their vicious attack
Rant over.

Greg

ps.
he also nicked 10 cd,s and my snooper

Sorry to hear that m8. And you know they've got no chance of getting caught. Might of been worthwhile using one of the airport security parks. I do when I go away even though I have a garage at home.
Bad luck

don't flame me as I have had it done to me too (not the scoob though thank god).
But................
You go on Holiday and leave...
1 the snooper on the dash.
2 the stereo in the car (assuming it was a non standard one)
3 cd's in the car

Now I know in a perfect world you SHOULD be able to happily leave your pride and joy in full view...unlocked even...and not have it touched,
But sadly we don't....*******

hope you get sorted ok

Andy

Fuzz
With hindsight you were right about the snooper and cds.
Although they were both in the glove box,not on sight.
The stereo is one of those reversing types that hides itself.
I did not have that fitted myself, and will replace it with a
face off design.
Oh, and there were 10 cds in a folder
My insurance will only cover me for £100 of personal belongings
in the car(that does not include the stereo).
I am going to try and get down to the subaru dealership today
to see the damage as i have not seen it yet
I realise you were not having a go Fuzz.
Its a sad world though, when you cannot leave your own car
outside your own house.
My garage will need a bit of work on it-
new door as the old one is kna####d.
I am going to fit a security post and alarm as well.
I just wish the government would take car crime seriously.
To them i am just another statistic.
Untill it is seen as a more offence, things can only get worse
If you rob a shop of £12000, you get sent down.
If you steal a £12000 car you are a naughty boy.
Dont do it again!!!
Have 30 community service!

The law is an ar#e

Oh, if when the yob in the stolen car hits someone and kills them,
he had a hard upbringing, not enough chances in life.
Send him on a car mechanics course and he will be a good boy in
future.

Have a look at your house insurance this may cover you for personal belongings as the car was on the drive.

I feel exactly the same way that you do Greg.

I think it is high time that our elected leaders start to concern themselves with the welfare of the people of their own country who employ them to administer our own affairs instead of being more interested in their own advancement.

on friday night my wife woke me at 1am and said some boys were looking in my van(3-4k of tools init)i shot up ran downstairs armed with baseball bat,by this time the boys had started to walk down the road,i peeping through a hole in curtain when someone came from the back garden past the window and started looking in the scoob,i shot out the door grabbed him by the throat and asked what the f##k he was doing,by this time all his mates have come back and start mouthing off so i smack one and chase the rest down the road.
last night i couldn't sleep through fear the little ******* would come back and damage the carand my wife suggested itake the car round her brothers...but why should i.
also the wife moaned about me going out with a bat but surely if i go outside knowing theres 5 or more people who could also be armed ishould take something to defend myself.

KILL 'em ALL....!!!! Too good for them! What we should do is strip 'em, whip 'em, pull there finger/toe nails off, douse 'em in human ****. Tie 'em to your tow bar drag 'em down the main street twice maybe three times! throw 'em in a cell with Leroy the 21 1/2 stone sexually frustrated bi-curious black man...! (ouch...!) and then make 'em come round to your house and apologise! AGREE? or is that taking things too far? NOT! ;-) Hope you get sorted mate...!

Sorry to hear that

It seems nowadays "car crime" is when you drive faster than a random sign on the roadside says...

Get that old car sold to your mate and get the garage ready for your car.

Here's a good deal on a "total protection" radar and laser combination for you : https://www.radarbusters.com/product...s/904-975r.asp

sorry to hear about you car
Its obvious that they have as you say peanuts for brains, but i think that you might be upsetting a few intelligent peanuts.dont these dick heads realise that the only way to get a scooby is by getting the keys and they would have to get into my bed at night to get them and the shivering little sh'ts wont try that.so why cause so much damage in the first place ....Rant over

Powerman

I know their latest trick is to break into your house and get
your car keys. We keep ours upstairs as well.
But then they would have to get past my wife at 2.00am
They may have peanuts for brains, but their not that daft
(brace myself for a bashing)

For all the damage they have done, I should have left the
doors open!
I have not seen the car yet as the dealer was closed when
we got back. Tomorrow is the day

Greg .. sorry to hear about your car mate

I'm in Perry Barr on the border of handsworth and touch wood haven't had any to55ers do anything to my Turbo 2000 MY97 which is parked on the road.

My mate who lives over in Harborne in a huge f*** off house is always getting his cars knicked and his house burgled.

On one occassion he heared a noise and looked out of the bedroom window as the security light went on. Only sees a bloke steppin into his dads Merc ... winds down the window .. picks up his dads comb from the dash and imitating Fonzi outta Happy Days raises both hands and starts combing his hair with his dads freakin comb ... winks at my mate to acknowledge him for the spanking new motor and floors it outta his drive !!! ... cheeky b****** never got caught and never saw the car again either.

... it makes me feel quite glad i'm in Handsworth I can tell ya !!

That makes my theft on Saturday night seem a little small. What really gets to me in the end is that even if the police catch them (very long shot I know) the judge will just send them on their way with a "don't do that again, theres a good Boy (or Girl)"

Cut their hands off, then see them try it again!!!!
