My scoob is due up for its year 3 anti corrosion treatment. It missed its year 1 as I wasnt the owner then.
Is this worth doing and if so how much will it cost??

My car's due for this too. My 1998 uk imp turbo arches have black plastic strips protecting the arch, these do not seem totally flush, do the arches corrode under these ?
Is it worth having this treated or the plastic strips removed and replaced ?
Anyone ?
Thanks.

Do it yourself using Waxoyl,my mates dad put me on to this stuff as he has a couple of classic cars and it works a treat.I've done the scoob a couple of times and its well worth it.
Also, doing it yourself gives you a feel good factor as you know you are protecting your pride and joy and when doing it yourself you tend to take more care in regards to doing the job right
I know this doesnt get the book stamped but your not getting ripped off and any one in the future can see you nave taken care of the car!

My car was in for it's 10,000 service last week and they informed me it was due a yearly underbody service? Cost £85. Why the hell does it need this, surely they are undersealed prior to sale, anyone?

Waxoyl sounds good, thanks.
Anyone know if the black plastic arch guards come off and go back on easily to see if there's corrusion etc underneath and be able to treat it ?? Thanks...
