Me. There's one under at the front of the exhaust underneath the car, about in line with the front wheels. If I were you though try sticking a jubilee clip round it and see if it solves the problem.

Me too. Would have to be a big jubilee clip to get round the heatshield and exhaust, though

I've 'fixed' mine by getting an Afterburner centre and rear. Can't hear the rattling now

I reckon the simplest thing is to take the heatshield off -- most aftermarket downpipes don't have them anyway.

Theres quite a few heatshields and they often seem to come loose.

Theres been some debate about whether to remove them or not - some people do and some people believe they're there for a reason and should be left in place.

Apart from getting access to a couple of them, the're an easy fix and it shouldn't be a big enough problem to become to a warrenty issue.

This is the heatshield on the bottom of the downpipe we're talking about, not the one between the turbo and the downpipe. AFAICS its only purpose is to avoid setting fire to the ground if you park on grass.

Yeah that's the one I meant. Maybe because mines a sport it has a narrower exhaust and therefore not so big jubilee clip.
