Read something on the german gt-club site about owners of MY01 and on getting their ecu´s updated at the dealers. Supposedly the effect was better torque and fuel consumption. They mentioned some numbers: old ecu:AF 530
new ecu:AF 531
and also another number:009946 onwards.
Any comments?

I have not heard anything from my dealer yet out here, I am due for some new front brakes soon so I may ask them about it then.
I could do with the extra mpg running up and down the autobahn

Ecutek list both the AF530 and AF531 on their site.
Perhaps it was a mid year improvement? Anyone know how to find out what ECU is under the bonnet (without buying a SECS)

Could you spread some light here when you spoke to your dealer or maybe you could go to the german club site and have a look please. It was about 2-4 days ago. Hope I´m not asking too much.
Thanks
