I know its a big ask but is there anyone in the Cheshunt Herts area with a means of transporting a car that could help get my poorly Westfiled to the menders?
I have spoken to a couple of companies but they want to charge the earth (£450) to get the car from Cheshunt to Bishops Stortford.
If anyone has any suggestions of good/cheaper companies - or has such a facility who is willing to help I would really appriciate it.

In a foolhady moment of generousity I will volunteer if your car can be towed, to pull you up to Bishops Stortford this weekend if you like. Only cost you the fuel and couple of pints at the pub. Otherwise I have a tow bar that can be put to use, so give me a little while I may be able to sort a trailer to use, no promises though.

Just a quick note to all those on the board reading this and also needing a car trailer, as this has cropped up before. For those people in or around North London/Herts, St Albans van hire have a trailer to hire, £45+vat for 36hours rental.
