Three weeks ago I took my 01 Sport to a dealer as the front windows were not operating smoothly and was scratching the glass. I was told they had to contact sub UK as it was a prob with the glass before they could do anything. To me its a mecanical prob thats scratching the glass!!! He told me he would call as soon as he heard anything two calls later from me today he tells me sub UK want pics of the glass no mention of the dodgy mecanism, before he can do anything.
Dont Subaru trust there highly trained service managers to decide when something is FCUKED and get the job done or do they think i will get fedup and stop pestering them?
loosing faith in subaru, Manners

There seems to be a difference in standards between dealers when it comes to warranty. I had a problem with the winding mechanism on the RB5 I used to own (Not scratching the window though). Although it took them months to bottom the problem propoerly there was never an issue with warranty or getting the work done.
There has never been a problem where I go no matter how small or large the fault is. Subaru UK have never questioned the new clutches I've had in everyone of my Scoobs (three) so long as they were less than 20K old ?
Just be firm with them without being rude and they'll come round or take it to another dealer for a second opinion

Is it just me or does everyones window seals seem to hold water, like, forever? I can wind the windows down a day after it last rained, and they will wind back up again streaked with water. Very very annoying. This is on an MY02 BTW.

My MY 99 Did this - My dealer got it sorted in no time, well known fault.
Dealer also suggested that people should not lean on the glass or shut the door by pushing it if you know what i mean.
