Will you ever drive another?
My MY94 Import WRX,
I can honestly say that i think that i would never buy anything but a scooby now,How do you other guys and girls feel.
I have owned now just over two years and the thrill is just the same,it seems that just any other car on the road is left shocked at the speed you pass them, I find now that you can pass cars in short stints and take risks that you would,nt in other cars, just because of the pure torque they have,
Just wanted to express my passionate feeling for this car and would really like to upgrade to a STI ;ater this year,
all the best Scoobynet readers and lots of happy smiles
Cheers Jason

Couldn't agree more m8!
On my 2nd scoob now and have had a Nissan 300ZX & Audi A4 in between, but for all the styling, build quality and reliability that the other interim cars offered, you just can't be the scoob on the smiles for your miles factor...
Won't be buying any other mark again (even if petrol hit £1.00 a litre!!!)

Scooby's seem to attract a very loyal owner base; but remember that you guys/gals are the enthusiasts, the far extreme of the average owner who just drives the car, moans about the petrol consumption and lousy interior and gets used to the performance and takes the rest for granted.
I get strange looks when I talk to others about group A downpipes, decats, remapping, gauges, big brakes, etc; even those with Imprezas; and I don't think I'm particularly nutty about the car.

yep i love em too
at the grand old age of 28 i have owned the following :
Honda Fireblade
GSXR750 SRAD
ZX9R C1
Porsche 944
Porsche 911 Carrera
Sierra Cosworth
Sierra Sapphire Cosworth
Nissan 300 ZX Twin Turbo (manual)
MR2 Turbo
2 x WRX's (one of these is my current car)
+ loads of 'hot' hatches
I can hand on heart say that the WRX is the best .
Not the best built, not the fastest, arguably not the best looking, and so on....but it has no major weaknesses like the others. It's just a great overall package. I doubt I'll return to anything else .

Old Bugger here...
Have owned or driven just about everthing performance orientated with 2 or 4 wheels - some Kraut mobiles costing 3 times more than my P1 - However the Subaru has stolen my heart - fantastic to drive - vastly more reliable than any performance car I have owned before and therfore cheap as chips to run by comparison - why arn't all cars made this way?

Scooby Senior
I'm on my third Scoob now and, for the time being at least, I'll not buy anything else... but circumstances/desires/production cars all change and who knows what the future holds!
One thing I am pretty sure about is that all my future cars will be AWD!

I don't think anything beats it - I'll certainly test drive a few others, but I love the character of the car...powerful, yet not stupidly so, corners like it's on rails and gives you neck ache at the end of a "spirited" run!
Also looks majorily mean (I have a MY98 classic) and will look even more so after the tints and front splitter Gets it's fair share of thumbs up, waves and comments - and not just from Scooby drivers!
The extra bit is the community, so far with my scoob I've been camping in the lakes with the Muppets, torn across the midlands countryside to The Big One and driven a lap of Goodwood to name a few things... This is of course all done whilst making loads of new (and good...well, most of 'em ) friends Not sure you'd get all that with other marques...
....oh, look at that I look like a right "girl" after writing all that - oh well!
