Tempted by the MY03, especially at import prices of 16k, plenty in stock / quick delivery.
Question is why would anyone pay 4k more from a main dealer, especially after their showing on the last model.
Do they have a pan-european warranty now?

Yes:

You will find that you will have to put money up font, about two to four weeks before you get it, the whole lot up front.

Should not be a problem with a well known import company.
But rejecting it may be a problem

Saving = Risk

to the second question. YES if it’s a parallel import not grey

Also: Keep the car, because garages will find any reason to give you less than you want for it second hand.

Mind you, private sale about 2k less than a garage and another 2k less because its an import can't be a bad buy at 4k saving for a second hand buyer, cant be bad.

Plus you have saved 2k, apart from that it won’t be worth a light in four years anyway.

Just get hold of it as cheap as you can............

Where are they in stock for quick delivery at 16k? Tempting Prices I've been quoted are around 16.5k+ (with alarm) and a 5 month delivery.

I went the EU route three years ago on my MY00 - best thing I ever did. Paid 15.5k for it and reckon its still worth 11ish now (25k miles, FSSH and a few bits)

Cheers,

Ian.

Top price if its the 03 model - or maybe its 02 model registered 03? Web site doesn't say its an 03.

Make sure its an EU import - the ones from Cyprus don't come with any Subaru warranty and may be more difficult to insure.

I had a look at their website - the only ones listed as in stock are only in MY02 colours. Methinks they're actually MY02 cars, and Motorhouse are doing the usual.

Iain Litchfield has a couple of MY03 WRXs in stock at £17,995 - with alarm, metallic paint and no extra charges at all.

Yeah - you're right I misread the ad.

"Available for 03 registration" was what it said.

So 5 months is about the average wait then?

Ajax

The cheapest Litchifield price is avialable only for factory order cars which come with a 4+ months wait. Iain can do immediate delivery but they cost more as he's had to import them himslef along with the rsik he wont sell them.

I've heard if you shop around the dealers, you will get a Type Uk car for £23.5 cash, same as an import
