question for UK owners with dawes fitted

Mods. i know this should be in technical but could you leave this in here until tomorrow please.
When you put your scoob in for a service do you remove the dawes and replace with the oem tube.
Im asking because mine is in for a service tomorrow, last time i took the dawes off.
If i left it on would the dawes affect the diagnostic test or anything else they do on the service (do they do a diagnostic test?) would the ECU show if the boost has been risen at all??
