after a recent thred about hesitation on my00 cars i'm going to try and get the dealer to change the ECU, the problem is ive got a scooby sport back box on, should i swop it back to the standard to avoid any warrenty problems?? or will they overlook it??

I'm sure dealers fit Scoobysport backboxes, in which case there won't be a prob. Why don't you ring them and pretend you are thinking of buying one, and ask them if your warentee will remain intact.

 

If you have the old back box then put it back on, better to be safe than sorry.

Bought a turbo car from from them, they fitted me a scooby sport back box at the same time and said it would not affect the warranty!

 

got mine 2 months back ans aked you can fit a back box but not a decat system si dont worry about it
