Right then - just sold my Sport (good as)
And I need a car to tide me over til April, when the new WRX arrives - it would be useful to keep around (for the girly) as a second car after then - esp if it lowers (!?!) the insurance on my WRX.
Was looking on around and came across one of these:
but in girly purple.
It's got a whopping 667cc engine and has switchable 4WD (to be a proper scoob obv).
Anyone got any experience (or otherwise) of these cars.
PS it's only 750 quid on 20000 miles, which might turn out to be a bargin

94 - so lot of shopping trips me thinks - not necessarily a good thing I know (apparently good for over 100000miles!)
haven't been to see it yet
Oh and they do 55mpg!

Trust me, she really, really doesn't want a Justy. 'Car' magazine describes it as the very worst car on sale in the UK today, and I'm inclined to agree. 4WD but no LSDs anywhere, so as soon as one wheel loses grip it starts spinning while the others all just sit there...

I LOVED these - I had one for a few weeks once, and it was awesome!
It revs to about 8K - like a little sewing machine - soooo smooth.
You could wring its neck & have brilliant driving fun, all while doing 40mph!
It maxes out about 85 mph on the Mway!
I actually was starting to prefer it to my Impreza as it was much more involving & fun at sane speeds.
Buy it - its a bargain - really it is - Even I'm tempted now.... Where was agin? - LOL
p.s check Insurance quotes - seem to remember it was quite high grouped bizarrely!

DO IT !
I recently bought a F plate Justy - 1.2 3 cyl, 4WD and its a right laugh. From what I can see the Vivo is just a 'rounded' version. We use it for tip runs, dog walking and popping to the shops (live in country) rather than getting the STi 7 out of the garage..... and it blocks the doors too !
The 4WD is not that good but you can slide em well on mud and snow..
Chris - what sort of price can you get the RVR's for ? - please send us a picture !

Check what your buying is not a grey import. I'm not starting a grey / UK debate, but for a car that rare you could have part or service problems. They were imported by Subaru UK for a time.
Useless information that may be wrong VIVIO is roman numerals for 666 - the cc of the car?

From looking around, any GLi isn't a grey import, but they all share the same (rare) parts.
Oh and to be 666 - it'd really have to be DCLXVI - which isn't really as catchy. But I did notice the engine is actually 660cc, and with some really bad application of roman numerals, you're probably right:
6=VI
0 isn't - romans had no value for 0! - but we'll use O
6 6 0
=
VIVIO
Japenese
