Auto-express issue 739 p.14 has an article that says that subaru is working on a 3 litre turbo impreza putting out over 350BHP, but we will have to wait a few years for it to come to market. They reckon it will be in the next major revision for 2007.

The 3.0 legacy engine is a flat 6, hence the name H6-3.0.
It does seem to be a fair bit heavier than the 2.5 flat 4, as the kerbweights of the 2 cars are around 150-200kg different.
Yes, it is in a very low state of tune with the standard 208bhp, 280 would make my wife happier, rather than just pleased to burn up the Golf GTI at the lights
The H6 another Q car in the making that needs more oomph, as well as a manual gearbox; which is what FHI will have to do in addition to adding forced induction to the engine for the next shape Impreza.
