Hi everyone, I need some help and advice please. I am seriously considering buying a legacy G-TB. Does anyone own one of these?.
Any advice on buying one, potential problems, insurance costs ect ect ect. any help or advice would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Best to visit the legaacyB4 group on yahoo - there are quite a few owners from the UK who can help.

The car itself is a beauty, fast, comfortable and a good hauler in one. Grey, so insurance can be high, and some parts a bit scarce. Don't respond to tuning like a WRX and need care in that regard (although many bits are shared with other Scoobs, so it is not quite as scary as some would have you believe, just don't bend the bonnet!).

Which generation are you looking at? BG or BH? And which type (B or C if a BG, A thru D if BH)?

Sounds like the old shape - BG. I had one and it was great, but don't feed it Mobil 1 racing, for some reason it (and quite a few other owners' cars) did not do very well on it - head gaskets were going all over the place until the word got out to leave it alone.

Get yourself on the yahoo list - while some TT owners do hang out on Scoobynet, there seem to be a few more on the B4 group (and there is experience from all over the world there).

Best of luck with the car.
