Hi Guys,

I was looking at my JDM STi-7 and some of the service parts and notice that it shares some of these key service parts with the Legacy. I thought this was a bit strange as the STi parts I would have thought would need to be higher rated etc.

Confirmed the same:

Air filter and oil filter the same


Trying to get confirmation:

Fuel filter and spark plugs


You would think that the STI would at least have a better air filter as air quality and amount coming into the engine is a pretty big deal on a 2.0 litre pumping out 276 bhp stock....oh well, I found it a little strange...

Sheesh Ray - how much output do you think the Legacy twinturbo has? The gap in performance between the cars is not that huge really (j/k).

Oh yeah, a hint - it is the same book "ps" value as your car with a bit less torque. Misses out on some of the trick bits though - it's got an open deck block for one, no 6 slotter and narrower track + tyres.
