Courtesy car standard for warranty work?
My P1's going in to a dealer for some (hopefully!) warranty work on the rear suspension this evening. Is it normal practice to be given a courtesy car? .. Because so far this hasn't been offered to me.
Did I ask for one? ... Nope! I'm so used to running older cars with no warranty that I didn't think to ask. I'm not bothered if the car's only with them for 1-2days... but if parts are required and it turns into a week, I'll need one.
Maybe you should arranged one with them.
I always ask for a car, if I need one for the time the work is going to be done.
It makes no difference if the work if warrenty or normal.
If you didn't as for one then don't be surprised if they don't supply one.

I got a shiny new WRX when I had warranty work done on the P1. Had it for a whole week but had to cover it on my insurance though! Still, it was better than having to run around in one of those Justy things!
Is it the rear struts you are having replaced by any chance??
