I have a honda civic 1.8 vti as well as the scoob, and it handels like a blamonge, It accelarates slower than a golf gti and thats slow.
However the wife has a scorpio24v cossie, and while its no match for the scoob, its a big powerfull cruise missile.
its the most under rated car on the road.

pointless post, if they wernt fun to drive we would not all pour hundreds of pounds into having fun, go get a Vectra, thats boring

it had better be more fun to drive than a vectra as being 24 I cant get a test drive, so ive only been a passenger.

But i will be 25 when the car arrives. :-)

yep, apparently their insurance is 25 + only unless I insured it myself

I find mine is fun, it's fast, noisy, raw, harsh and makes me smile every time I drive it.

My car: STi3 : Very fast, great fun but you have to get up to speed to enjoy it. That invariably, for me anyway, involved unwelcome additions to my drivers license.

The wifeys car: Mini Cooper : Fastish, great fun at low speeds, much less noticable, mush more likely to keep license in pristine condition
