There was a guy in the UK whose car appeared in a mag a couple of months back who had covered his dash with green alcantara.
I'd say it is a personal thing - I wouldn't have done either to be honest but I do concede that the dash (in the early WRX's especially) doesn't look too good
I have a 94 WRX with the red and grey seats with the dodgy pattern so I obviously have no taste anyway!
