MY02 WRX with PPP (anthracite alloys, morettes (front) and a quickshift kit).
Wondering whether I would notice the difference by adding a centre de-cat kit? Don't want to go the whole way and do up or down pipes (although not sure what I'm talking about...) and would like to limit the impact any mods have on my warranty (argue the case if something did go wrong).
Also, K&N panel filter? Good idea or not - I see too many stories about sensors failing with induction kits so think I should stay away from these.
I cover about 20000 miles a year, much is motorway and would hope a centre de-cat may give a little extra responsiveness at 80 MPH'ish in fifth?
Abolutely love the car (done 2500 miles now) especially at the weekends when I can stay away from the motorway and stretch its legs on the a and b roads....
Thx

If you have the PPP fitted, you already have a centre decat pipe
If you are concerned about invalidating your warranty, why not tackle your suspension next. Lots of Scoob owners swear uprated springs and a good geometry setup is the best mod they've done.
How about a VTA dump valve to scare old ladies waiting at bus stops?
Big boot spoiler? Colour coded sills? Sports grille?
There's quite a lot you can do without jeopardising(sp?) your warranty.
