Well, I finally got rid of the scoob. I'll be picking up my nice shiny V6 Twin Turbo'd RWD Datsun in January

There are some things that i'll miss about the scoob. I'll miss the slipping clutch, the whistling turbo, the hesitation on boost, the rattly plastics, the intermittently dimming lights, the eratic idle, the leaky header tank, the leaking power steering reservoir, the sticky sunroof and the knackered door handle. Oh well..... i guess i'll just have to make do with the Datsun

Don't get me wrong, if you have decent scoob I've no doubt that it's a decent car. Unfortunately mine wasn't so it had to go. Even without all the problems mine had, there was just too much about it i didn't like, just personal tastes. I guess i'm just not a scoob type person

LOL,
Bet you have more trouble with the Nissan though, I spent a day at SE Nissan with ny GTi-R and watched about 10 300zx's (I presume thats what you mean) come in with troubles during the day.
Good luck with the new car mate, I don't have much trouble with my scooby.. apart from the cr*p lights, cr*p brakes, mysterious climbing boost, etc, etc

the lights are crap, must admit - but in two years the
only probs i have had are a rattling ashtray (honest! and 'zinging' hydraulic pipes.
Marty must have had a bad one...?

I think it would be fair to say that my scoob wasn't the best example of motoring excellence

I've had 4 - almost 163,000 miles (and counting), of hassle free Scooby driving. :-)
