Can any of you do me a favour!
Pop your bonnet and have a look at the turbo. In between the compressor (part nearest you
) and the exhaust port (bit at the back ) there is like a galvanised clip/shackle that looks to hold the 2 parts together. On there should be some writing, for example:
8h1 04H
1J1 04H

Yep thats the right bit, still don't answer me questions though!!! Trying to find the difference between a MY99 and MY01 turbo, as think mine may have been replaced by an 01 unit
The codes above I posted are from the old and new turbo, but seems they are more like a serial number than a model number........
